MaryAine Curtis - Modern Day Priestess - Part 1

MaryAiñe Curtis – Modern Day Priestess – Part 1

Hello. I have a thought for today that I want to share with you and it’s about the modern day priestess and how I came to know her. My name is Maryaiñe Curtis. I have been a seeker my entire life. It started when I was young reading books about King Arthur and Camelot and, and Avalon that always caught my attention, attention the crystal caves of Merlin and how Avalon, this priestesses, the mist would hide them so mortal man couldn’t find them. And that has been a thread that has been through my entire life. If you have had something like this as well, maybe you gravitated to authors like, um, Dion fortune who lived there and Mary Stewart that wrote about this time of Camelot that these stories ignited a passion to seek these places and go to see them. I’ve yet to be the Avalon, but I went to Ireland to search out the sacred stone circles and that was an amazing trip that brought me closer to being in my purpose.

No, Mary Magdalen is another part of this that I grew up knowing about Mary Magdalene. But the way I was taught about her was very different from what I believe about her today. I believe that she was a high priestess as was the mother, Mary I priestess. And the lineage that we come from, the Avalonian lineage is very long and very deep through many, many women generation’s lifetimes. And some of the thoughts that we might have that will resonate with you is when we hear about the burning times and it’s, Oh, it’s a visceral reaction to that, that, and maybe it wasn’t me there, maybe it was a great, great grandmother. And so that information is still carried in my cells of my body. So this put me on another search for a mystery school. How do I find the school that I resonate with? And over the past 30, 40 years, I’ve looked at many and the mist of Avalon came out and that was a fabulous book that so many of us gravitated to or um, women running with wolves and another one from another culture that we learned from.

And so that’s the beginning of our is like we really resonate with these stories that are passed down and now I have found the mystery school that I fit with and it is the priestess presence, which is, it comes from the 13 moon mystery school. It is an Avalonian teaching brought to us by Arielle Spilsbury. And then more potently and more online is, is iLien, Elaine Khalila Dowdy, and she is the focal ISER of the priestess presence. We’re mostly online through an ethereal temple that we come to on-calls and we also have physical, a physical temple and the Northern part of California that is new. And I’ve been there twice.

So we come together as women, as sisters, as love. We learn to walk as love and we’ve learned mudras to calm ourselves. And empty presence is one that is a beautiful moodra I probably will talk about a lot. And it’s simply bringing your attention, you know, from the heavens into your mind and coming down into your heart into this container that is the chalice of our body. And so we go within within our body. This is my temple and it’s fascinating and amazing to see what is inside of me. I will tell you more about this in the upcoming videos, but for now, this is the thought for the, for the moment, and stay tuned because it gets better and better.

Thank you for watching.
